Harlaxton College is committed to producing websites and web resources that can be accessed by all users. This page describes some of the features that have been incorporated into this site.
We are working hard to ensure that all publicly available pages produced on Harlaxton College's website will conform to the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C), Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Double-A standard and validate against the Bobby website accessibility software.
The main menu is a fully-featured and accessible DHTML menu, that provides useable content to all browsers - including screenreaders, search-engines and text-only browsers. It is WAI and Section 508 compliant and is 'tab enabled'.
If you need to change the size of the text on the page, most Internet browsers will allow users to change the font size. However when changing your browser settings, keep this information in mind:
How to change the settings of the following browsers:
Press ctrl and + to increase or ctrl and - to descrease font size. Mac users should use the Apple key instead of ctrl.
