Studying abroad need not be an expensive option. Often scholarships and financial aid will transfer and it would be wise to discuss options with your Study Abroad Office or Mr Earl Kirk (ek43@evansville.edu) at the Harlaxton Study Abroad Office.
The cost for one semester's tuition, room, board, and fees for 2009-2010 is $17,713.
Not included: air fare (approx. $700-900); and personal expenses for books, travel, etc., for which you should estimate $3,500-4,000.
Students from co-operating colleges should contact their respective campus co-ordinators for cost information.
Guest students should contact Earl Kirk (ek43@evansville.edu) for cost information.
The rules on fiancial aid vary tremendously from school to school. The following could be considered a guide:
Financial aid and scholarships are available to full time University of Evansville students, just as they are on the Evansville campus.
Financial aid and scholarships are usually available to full time partner college students.
Prospective students should contact their respective campus co-ordinators for details.
Guest students (non-UE and co-operating college) are not eligible for University of Evansville scholarships or financial aid.
However, some US universities will allow institutional aid to apply toward Harlaxton College. Guest students whose home institution does not allow institutional aid to apply may be eligible for a modest Harlaxton scholarship. Contact Earl Kirk (ek43@evansville.edu) for details.
Many schools offer study abroad scholarships. Again our recomendation is to contact your Study Abroad Office or Mr Earl Kirk (ek43@evansville.edu) at the Harlaxton Study Abroad Office.
Harlaxton College itself offers a small number of travel and travel writing scholarships which are available on competitive application.
